Twitter reports by stars Sophie Skelton and Sam Heughan talking about the last week(s) of filming. Is it officially almost a wrap? Various back stage people such as Matt Roberts and others are giving off the, “It’s just about done” vibe. The heat in Scotland and the midges have been playing havoc with the crews, and another new Filming location, Loch Faskally was revealed. It looks like about 10 days left of filming.
Sam is keen on art being sent in, so if you have some for the last few days, post it to Sam or Outlander’s official Twitter.
Season 5 filming will not begin until February 2019. This puts us back to getting season 5 possibly in 2020. It averages 10-11 months for this production to get a season done, and unless they will start going to multiple film crews like some series do, it may take quite a while to get through to more current books. Can fans endure that many more Droughtlander periods?
