The Theatre location, possibly St. Andrews in the Square, Merchant City, Glasgow, where filming took place last spring. The interior set designs by Jon Gary Steele are lavish and the details right down to the American penned play are accurate. 

We also met the first of the colonial historical figures that pop up as characters in the Outlander book series by Dianna Gabaldon. Colonel George Washington and his wife, Martha, make an appearance at the play.
